Obama Declares H1N1 Pandemic a National Emergency

In an unprecedented move, this past weekend President Obama declared the H1N1 Pandemic a national emergency. Most mainstream media outlets are parroting the white house byline that there is "no cause for alarm".

According to Anne Schouchat, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, "It's really more of a continuation of our preparedness steps".

Oh really... preparedness for what? That is the multi-billion dollar question.

Given that H1N1 has proven to be a mild virus by normal standards, taking the lives of only one percent of those infected, why is our government taking this extraordinary measure? The official position is that this is being done to bypass certain federal regulations and allow hospitals greater flexibility in establishing large scale medical triage camps to treat massive numbers of victims.

All of this kind of makes you wonder, what do they know that we don't?

The bone chilling truth is that with the stroke of a pen, many of our constitutional rights have just been buried under a wall of bureaucracy and a honeycomb of secret agendas.

The National Emergencies Act of 1976 provides for a federal emergency declaration that basically allows the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) carte blanche control over state and local authorities to respond to and deal with emergency health crises as they see fit. If the new powers that be should decree that the populace be forced to submit to mandatory injections with untested and unproven vaccines, then so be it.

Those who are all too familiar with FEMA camps can attest to their ability to detain and isolate people for "emergency purposes". Just imagine going to your friendly doctor or hospital with flu-like symptoms and suddenly being "arrested" and quarantined "for the public good", forcefully held and forcefully "treated" with dangerous vaccines and antiviral drugs. for an undetermined period of time, and entirely without recourse.

So begins a dark foreshadowing of things to come, as we who dwell in the land of the free are being gradually programmed to submit to more and more government control of our lives.
